Finally got it to work but it is ungodly slow. Using the android app I moved files to windows cloud and dropbox, then fetched them to my PC in far less time than it took to open 1 pdf with the browser. So far I am liking the EX2 far more than the duo.

Make sure all the devices on the network are gygabit connection and reset all the devices to clear the cache on the connection.
