Very slow repond of my book live due

I just purchased the my book live due 4t netowrk storage

After I plugged it in using a static IP on the netowrk " with domain " it is very slow

Setting any configuration of it takes minutes to respond

The data transfer also is very slow

I already have the my book world older ver. installed on the same network and it is working just fine

Can anyone help

Hi, as far as I know the My Book Live is not supported to join a domain, only workgroups. Check the link below.

Err, no.   The fact that it’s Workgroup versus Domain is irrelevent to the poster’s problems.

Slow speed in the UI can occur if the device is busy doing other functions (initial configuration, RAID change, Photo / Media Server / iTunes server indexing, etc.)

Slow speed of transfers:  Well, we need to know what speeds you’re actually seeing, as “slow” is relative and doesn’t mean much.
