So have been reading about some of you guys having issues after updating the firnware. But I also saw someone post that they updated before adding any data and it works just fine. Is it okay to update, and should I update before adding any data for best performance?
I just recieved mine just yesterday and updated when I was asked during the drive bring up process. It is working fine for me and I am moving data to it from my old drive.
