WD My Book RAID problem

I just bought a WD My Book Live Duo 4 Tb and want to create 2 x 2 Tb using RAID 1 using an iMac OS Lion.

Can anyone tell me how to do this ?

It does not matter what OS you use. The Duo has it’s own “OS” with a web browser interface.

Just hook the drive onto your network, go to the UI and set storage to Mirror. That will take care of it. . . It will take about a day to complete the RAID. The drive will be usable during that time, just a little slower.

And yes, it took a day to get the RAID installed but now it works !
