Share folder with family or friends not on my network though password protected web access

Given:

MyBookLiveDuo 2TB.

Firmware Version: 02.43.03-022

Remote Access is enabled in Dashboard and I can gain access through wd2go.com

My challenge:

I cannot determine how to share folder with family or friends not on my network though password protected web access.

Details:

I am inside Dashboard on Remote Access tab and I see:
“TIP: You can also share files remotely with family and friends by creating a new user on your My Book Live Duo, and then creating a separate web access account for that specific user through the web interface.”  I assume that “web interface” in this case means wd2go.com…?

In Dashboard, I created a User and simultaneously created a Share for them. I am logged into  wd2go.com and I see the WD logo in upper left, then “My Book Live Duo - System Administrator” , then Admin, WD Devices, Logout. All Shares are listed,  and my option for each is to Open in Explorer.

I have tried while both on my own home network, and while off my home network using a different internet connection, and I see no prompt or setting or anything to be able to activate sharing or creating web access for another user.

I searched the forum with various combinations of kewords of: web access sharing friends family external remote web interface

Thank you for your help.

Never mind on this. I figured it out.
When WD writes a TIP of: “TIP: You can also share files remotely with family and friends by creating a new user on your My Book Live Duo, and then creating a separate web access account for that specific user through the web interface,”…

I thought “web interface” meant using wd2go.com.

It would be a lot more clear if they would write,

“TIP: You can also share files remotely with family and friends by creating a new uUser on your My Book Live Duo, and then creating Registering a separate wWeb aAccess account for that specific user through using the web interface Dashboard.”

Yes, this is semantics, but with a more concise use of terms, the “TIP” they provided would be a lot more clear.
