Remote access to MyCloud on Live Duo

Got my Live Duo installed and functioning, and have enabled Remote access, but when I try to access it remotely - both via an Android tablet and from a PC browser, I get the error message " Device is Offline. MyBookLiveDuo is currently offline. Check your Internet connection and enable remote access; then try again."

Any thoughts as to what could be causing this would be greatly appreciated.

Note:  The images are from the My Cloud NAS, not the Live Duo, but the process is pretty much the same.
