Hi,

New to ownership of the mybookliveduo, everthing working great so far untill I tried to set up remote access.

In settings under network it shows Internet is Good but under remote access tab it says failed to connect error 31520.

I followed a post on here about port forwarding ect but still have the same problem.

We can access the mbld from our Iphones using cloud app fine,although it wont let me set up any more mobile access, but when using wd2go to access through a pc it says it is not online.

I even tried the ssh guide to reset with noreformat but although it showed as connected for a few mins when first booted it went back to failed.

Any help pointers greatly appreciated.

Hi there and welcome to the WD community.

Have you tried Setting up a static IP on the unit. also try to disable the remote accessed and reboot the device and re enable remote access to see if that can help with the issue.

Yes I did try the static ip but had the same issues.

I dont understand how it can be “good” and working through the wd cloud app  but yet from a browser using wd2go it keeps saying offline and failed on the unit itself.

I was just wondering if there was anything else I can try.
