Just moved my drive from one apartment to another personally, carefully hand carried. It has been working with no problems at all for 2+ years at one location on one network, now when moved the red light is on and it is not working. Have tried a reset from the back - no dice. What can I try next? I tried to take the drives out and place them in to a SATA slot but they would not load. Set up as one drive so did not set them up as a RAID array. ALso tried new Cat 5 cable and hooked it up directly to router, bypassing network switch. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.
Hello,
According to the User’s Manual page # 12 the red light may be triggered by:
• Disk SMART failure
• Data Volume does not exist
• System Volume does not exist
• System thermal shutdown (75 C)
• Unsupported drive detected

I have exactly the same problem. Message was “failure to mount volume”. I too am using it as one 6tb drive. The diags state that the B drive is bad. In my case, I had less than 3tb of data, I would like very much to recover this if I can. Since it was configured as a single drive can I buy an exact replacement drive. What steps would need to be taken to install/configure?
