Red light = hard drive failure

Hi All,

So I got the red light of hard drive death and my duo is in raid 1 mode.  How do I know which drive is bad?  How do I get the information off the good drive so I can back it up before the bad hard drive is replaced?

Thanks in advance,

Re: Red light = hard drive failure

The UI will tell you which drive has failed. Look in the user manual under "replacing a drive."

Re: Red light = hard drive failure

The red light may appear by different causes:

- Disk SMART failure
- Data Volume does not exist
- System Volume does not exist
