Moving MyBookLive Duo to new machine, router, and network

Hi–

I have a 3TB (other 3TB as mirror) MyBookLive Duo, that is currently hooked up to a router, with my Windows7 HP laptop set as the admin/control. I am moving out of my current home, and looking to replace my HP with a MacBook. Essentially, I need advice on unmounting my drive from its current router and network, mounting it to a new router and network, and installing the WD Smartware controls to a new computer and OS without physically connecting my drive to the new computer. Any thoughts? Thanks for the help

Hello,

When you connect the drive to your new router you will need to map it on the new computer.

Check page #10 of the user’s manual and review the installation steps.
