Impossible to change file name through Lightroom command

I use Lightroom to manage photo files that are stored on a RAID 2x3 Tb MyBookLive Duo. The shares (directories) on this external drive are not protected with passwords. The Lightroom catalogue and software are on a Macbook, which connects  wireless with an Apple Time Machine. The RAID drive is connected to the Time Machine by means of an ethernet cable.

Problem: It is impossible to change file names using a Lightroom command (such as F2). I receive an error message: no authorisation to write.

This is a major flaw because it limits the use of the RAID drive for photo post-production .

Any experience, explanation, solution ?
