I can't see subtitles

Hi,

I have a samsung tv (46d5000), a WD 2 Tb external disk and a WD My Book Live Duo.
When i connect WD 2 Tb external disk to my TV via USB cable, i can see subtitles (srt.) in videos. But when i try to watch them via MyBook Live Duo DLNA i can’t see subtitles!.. How can i fix this? Also DLNA windows are working so slowly, opening a folder takes too much time i mean.
PS: My English is not so good sorry and i searched the forums but couldn’t find anything useful.

Not sure if the TV will show subtitles from a media server

have you tried other files?
