Hello all, just a quickie question about my new setup, first time using a Raid 1.

Does a Raid 1 setup write to both drives at same time?

I have a My Book Live Duo, 2 drives installed, connected via ethernet to gigabit switch.

Yes, RAID1 reads and writes simultaneously to both drives.
