I have the My Book Live Duo NAS for my movies and music and had no problem pulling video & media with my PS3s. One of my PS3s got hit by lightning and was fried. It was replaced with the new Amazon Fire TV. The Amazon Fire TV is great for Netflix and Amazon Prime but how do I get it to pull videos from my NAS?
The Amazon Fire TV supports an app called Plex, which is supposed to work with some NASs but no WD NASs show up on their list. Any advice in this area?

WD NASs do not support Plex/Plex does not support .WD
You want XBMC on it. There is a way of side loading apps.
