Bigger Raptor Drives

It's been awhile since i've seen a new Raptor drive come out. I would love to see them in larger sizes - while I love my raptor (boot drive), 300GB is barely enough for a proper OS + programs any more. Can we get one in a 1TB or similar size?

HDD RAM

Status: Implemented

I may be outside the box on this one maybe too much, but is it possible to design a hard drive with "No moving parts".  Kinda like the same way RAM is used, and simply call it HDD RAM. Because if we all take a look on how RAM is being written to and read. Why not design a hard drive no other company can call their own? This would be a revelation to futuristic technology. Again, this is just an idea.

Thank you

Mark

WD Scorpio Black in 500gb

Status: Implemented

I would really like to get a 500gb drive for my laptop, I only trust WD, and would like the enhanced specs of the scorpio black (7200rpm, larger cache, etc) over the blue. Is this drive in the works? Im tempted to buy a 7200rpm hitatchi off of newegg that has good reviews but I have had all WD drives until now and not one failure so Im pretty loyal at this point. any news on if this is gunnahappen?
