Why not build a solid state magnetic hard drive?

Flash wears out faster than magnetic platters.

 

Build a magnetic drive with one stationary read-head per sector and all can be accessed with 0  seek time.it'd be the fastest seeking magnetic drive ever and wouldn't wear out.

 

you could call it the WD Cranium or something silly like that.

 

Go! DO IT!

Physics dear watson.  To read magnetic flux, the head has to move through it.
