the wrong power supply was accidentally plugged into a “my book wd3200h1u-00” and now there are no lights and is not recognized by the pc. 19 volts were plugged in. the original power supply is 12 volts. same polarity. any suggestions?
Hi z-man7325, welcome to the WD Community. Repairs are not supported by WD, but I recommend you to contact support directly to see what options you have available.
If you are up to do it yourelf fixes try checking posts by fzabkar. He has guided people through fixing the circuit board, It might simply be a burnt diode that can be bypassed.
