my wd external hard disk 500gb is not function since yesterday…my problem is don know why ther is no hard disk icon show in  computer ( hard disk driver). please help me

Let’s do some basic troubleshooting here.

  • Do you feel the drive spinning?

  • If you connect the drive to another computer do you encounter the same issue?

  • Have you connect another USB device to your computer, are you having any issues?

i din feel the drive spining but i cna heard some voice.

i already try to connect to another laptop but also facing the same problem.
