Windows update tells me I need WD SES Device update, then fails

Hi

The SES driver is what allows you to have WD Smartware working, if you install the software then, the driver is going to install as well.

If you don’t want to use Smartware , yo won’t need to install the driver and the drive will work fine anyways.-
