I purchased a 2TB My Book Live and have it set up and running. One problem is that on our Windows 8 laptop we do not “see” the picture/video thumbnail, instead see a standard icon. I am able to see the picture from our Windows XP desktop. I have tried changing some of the basic folder views settings in Windows 8 to no evail. Please help.

Thank you for your reply! I had found that exact post and tried the suggestions. It corrected the problem for any pictures located on my computer (on the desktop or within libraries), but did not correct it for pictures located on my “My Book Live”. Any other suggestions?
