WD500G032 My Book spins but won't turn on

Hi all,

I went to turn on the My Book drive and it’s spinning, but no circular blue lights and computer doesn’t see anything. I pressed the reset button on the back with no results. I also tried unplugging it for a while, still nothing but the spinning sound.

Any ideas?

Call or email WD for a new power adapter. Now if that does not work then you got a faulty drive…
