Did you ever figure out what caused the drive to stop working? Sounds like a lot of us are hit with not working drives, especially if we have to change the case due to a broken USB port. (My issue) PC will locate the device, but appears that the drivers don’t work. Not sure what’s going on and I cannot afford the prices data recovery.
