Hello all, hope you can help. I have a HP laptop and a 2 TB Seagate EHDD. I just bought a 2 TB WD My Book EHDD. Windows 7 does not recognize the WD. Researched a lot before coming to this forum, and I tried many suggestions including, but not limited to, checking Disk Management. The WD does not show, not as offline, not as a different disk, does not show at all. I have installed WD driver, Smartware, and WD Utilities. Nothing see’s the WD. I have tried different ports and taken my Seagate off and putting the WD in the Seagate port. Nothing. Pretty frustrated with WD at this point. Is the anything else I can try?
Note: Just noticed that the Blue light at the front started a slow blinking. Any thoughts?
