Hey there,
I’ve owned my external for about eight months now, and recently plugged it in to use it only to receive no response from my computer. The external does not cause any alert from the operating system, does not show up under My Computer, nor Disc Management or Device Manager.
Despite this, the external works fine on my two other computers.
I have tried every USB port on my computer, installed Windows updates, tried it with different data cables, tried unplugging all other USB devices, restarting multiple times, a different power socket (despite the fact it worked on the other computers).
I’m out of ideas, and would appreciate any assistance, thanks for your time =).
