I am trying to search for files on my My Book using Windows 7. Every search says there are “no files” relating to that search… However when I go into an individual folder I can locate the file I am looking for. When doing this same search using Windows XP the files I am looking for appear every time. Can you please let me know what I need to do to fix this problem? I need to be able to perform a search to locate files rather than to look into each and every folder on the drive. Thank you for your anticipated help with this issue.
