I’ve been have problems with the transfer of video files.
I copy movies to my desk top then copy it to one of my External drives.
I then stream them through my network using the WD live.
I have been doing this successfully for sometime.
However recently the new file I copy to the external drive has been showing errors while streaming (stuttering or hanging up). I have 4 external drives and have had this problem on more than one. This doesn’t happen when I stream the desktop copy.
I’ve tried a complete OS reinstall. And using TeraCopy rather than windows.
The problem remains. Does anyone have any Ideas.

You can try running a diagnostic on the drive to make sure its not a drive issue. Also make sure the drive is plugged in directly into a wall outlet and user another USB cable if possible.
