Installation location for My Book Essential software

I have used My Book Essential for years, its software was installed on a distinct program drive.

Now, for some unkown reason, it would not work, so, I un-, and reinstalled it.

Everthing seems fine except that now I could not find how to choose the location to install.

My current version is: Smartware 4.2.4; Firmware 1025; I run Windows 8.1 64 bit.

How to istall elsewhere than the default location on C:/ ?

Hello,

By default WD Smartware will install in the C: drive. It will not give you the option to install in any other location.
