How to see files that are in My Book Essential

I just bought a My Book Essential ande not being too computer savy, finally got it to backup my files. The screen says the My Book has the files on it but … How do I see exactly what files are on the My Book?  I open up the My Book in Windows Explorer ( by the way i am using Windows 7)  but do not see where the  files are stored.

I did finally find where the files are stored in My Book.  It is buried deep in ’ Wd Smartware.swstor ’ folder in the My Book files when accessed through Windows Explorer.
