How to control spin down settings?

I have a 3TB WD My Book external HDD. How can I control the spind down time or disable it?

anything newer and is compatible with this drive?

Do you know if the WD Drive Utilities will install and control sleep timer for the latest external 3TB Elements drive? The Utilities are not listed in the download section for this drive.
