i own a late 2008 imac and an older macbook. only the imac runs yosemite. the wd external drive works great on both these machines.
the other day we purchased another imac and macbook air. and the drive does not even show up on diskutil, or anything… usb never shows up. hd turns on and lights up, but no activity on the two brand new machines.
i have searched high and low through posts on wd community and apple forums…
no help.
is there any type of real explanation from anyone involved with the products? or am i supposed to just go out and buy a new drive? some guidance would be appreciated regarding these matters.
