Tried to manage raid, may have deleted everything?

I have a 2TB My Book Studio Edition II, set up RAID 1

I needed to use one of the disks separately so tried using the WD Raid Manager to turn off RAID. The only option I saw in the mnager was “Configure” and assuming that’s what I wanted to do I clicked it and it appears that after running for a short while I now have 0 files. 

What happened? I obviously made an awful mistake. Can I recover my files? HELP!!!

I don’t know much about this really RAID 1 is mirrored and RAID 0 the data is copied across both drives. What OS ae you using? If this data is really important then professional recovery is best done before any do it yoursel fixes. Post your OS and I’ll PM somebody and see if they can help. I’ve never seen this one before.

OS is OSX Lion 10.7.2

I started running Data Rescue about an hour ago. Says approx 28 hours remaining. Whew.
