Problem ejecting usb mass storage device

WINDOWS CANT STOP UR ‘GENERIC VOLUME’ DEV ICE BECAUSE IT IS IN USE.CLOSE ANY PROGAMS OR WINDOW THAT MIGHT BE USING THE DEVICE,AND THEN TRY AGAIN LATER.

 

i did check there nothing open window, i close all the window,i try remove safely noting seem work,so only way i remove is laptop is shut down… i get fed up with it… please help

format the drive and then try using it…
