I have an external disk “My Passport Ultra” and today after I plugged the cable to my mac the disk didnt appear on the screen.
Any suggestions?

Check the physical connections and test the unit on a different computer if possible.
Also see if disk utilities is detecting the unit.
I checked it onanother pc and I have the same problem. Also, I did the procedure with the disk utility and there are no errors detected.

Was the unit formatted to be use only on Mac or both systems, Windows and Mac?
