open the drive and you see the backed up folders and files
what software did you use for backup?

I have a MAC and use Timeline. I see it says my iPhotos were backed up but can I somehow view the photos individually to be certain? Thank you.
You mean Time Machine :wink:
open the folder with the backup … it might shows as yourname backup or just backup
on there you will see a folder with your pictures
