Viewing backup

Is there anyway to view the information I have backed up? I just want to make sure it worked properly. Thank you.

open the drive and you see the backed up folders and files

what software did you use for backup?

I have a MAC and use Timeline. I see it says my iPhotos were backed up but can I somehow view the photos individually to be certain? Thank you.

You mean Time Machine

open the folder with the backup ... it might shows as yourname backup or just backup

on there you will see a folder with your pictures
