I’ve had a WD 1Tb MyPassport for two years now and it has worked just fine up to last week. Whenever I connect it to my laptop, the small light on my passport turns on and remains solid. My laptop (Macbook Pro 2009) doesn’t recognize it in any way. The drive doesn’t mount on my desktop and it doesn’t show up on Disk Utility either. I run most of my programs out of my external hard disk and have a lot of important information in there. I need a solution to this problem.
Try connecting to another computer and use a different cable if possible
