Turning off My Book

Just purchased My Book for Mac running OS 10.6. After plugging it in, it showed up on desktop, and I partitioned it and cloned my imac to one partition. Now that is done how do I shut the book off. I can’t find a off and on switch. I don’t want this to be on my desktop all the time.

The power button is in the back of the drive

to properly power off Eject and then press the power button
