Privacy Question, Passport for Mac

Hi,

This is a somewhat bizarre question. I recently divorced. When I moved out, my husband gave me this Passport for Mac, which he says I can use to access the photos and music files we had once shared on our home’s server.

I’ve been afraid to hook it up because I don’t exactly understand what it does. Is it just an external hard drive? Or will connecting it to my computer allow him access to my laptop again? I don’t want any link that would allow him to access my desktop or files.

Hi, the Passport is a normal external hard drive, so it will not enable anybody to access your computer,
