Hey everyone. I’m trying to install a My passport essential onto my Macbook pro. It was a hand me down from a relative. It seems to be an older version (2009).
I’m following the instruction manual which advises to click on ‘WD Smartware’ to install the drive. The installation begins and the estimated time remaining reaches 0 and this is where it just stops. I keep waiting for the installation to complete but it just stays stuck on 0. It won’t even let me click the cancel install tab below (it appears to be faded out).
Any help would be much appreciated !
