My computer wont recognize mt WD passport

I was deleting some things off my computer and MY HD came unplugged without ejecting it properly. Now my mac wont recognize it at all.

Go to disk utility and see if possible to repair with first aid

Hi, I’m having the same issue.

It does show up in my Disk Utility, but if I hit ‘repair’ will it delete files?

try a different port or cable

also you can try another mac

Icon for My Book time machine for my MacBook Pro keep turning when I requested Back Up Now. Machine would not eject on my laptop. I removed cord manually. After plugging it back on, Time Machine Icon did not appear on desktop.

dialog box say back up disk is not available-----My Book still have light inside box
