My Book Studio 2T (for my Mac) just stopped working and will not power on… Should I take case off and look inside or wometing else…I have a lot of valuable inof on the drive and would sure like to be able to recover it… Thanks for any assistance.

Opening the drive voids the warranty. If it’s still in warranty contact WD they’ll probably send you a new power supply to try.
