Hi, i have a WD my book essential, USB 3, 2 TB. I Formatted it in 2 partisions (mac journaled) one for TimeMachine and another for other files. The hard disk is slow, as it is a simple USB 2. Is it a problem of drivers? Or need i to re-format in a different way the hard-disk? Thank you. Greeting…

Is there anybody that can help me? I tried the hard disk also on windows 8… it’s always the same, it is very slow … and it is connected by USB 3.
