My WD Passport 3.0 has just wiped itself. LOST ALL MY WORK

I have just plugged in my hard drive into my mac and ejected on its own. Plugged it in again and now has nothing on it. Does anybody know if there is a way of restoring the hardrive so i havent just lost 2 years worth of work.

Hello,

No sure how a drive will erase the information by it self, but you might be able to do that with a data recovery software.

Also try using the drive on a different computer.
