Hi there ,

I have problem with My possport. Before to days ago, My Passport does not work but the lamp showing up and also I hear defferent sound. I change the cable but still doesn’t work. I have important document and pic. please help me as soon as u can

Verify that the cables you are using are not longer than 18 inches and that you are connecting the drive directly to a USB port from the computer, you may also try from another computer.  If the issue is not fixed you can contact WD for a replacement.

if that sound you are referring to is a clicking sound you are in trouble…

it could be a power issue as Vadir suggested to use the proper cable

Check Disk Management or Utility to see if you can test or partition the drive

Trying another computer will help you as well
