Brand new. I had to force eject it one day, and then it gane me the ‘need to restore’ message, and I couldn’t because the volume was still in use, so I used disk utility and erased everything.
I’ve downloaded all the drivers and installers and everything to try to get it back up to normal working progress, but even with the 'turbo" drivers installed, it runs so slowly. It didn’t do this before I erased everything. Did I screw the drive up, or is there a way to fix it?
Disk Utility says the partition map is running GUID, which I believe is how it’s supposed to be.
