So I upgraded my Mac Pro to ML from SL and my Time Machine totally failed with my My Book II 4TB on RAID 1 yesterday. Everything was updated, firmware etc. Short story is I have now refomatted it to OS X Extended Journaled through disk utility and it worked again.
Here’s the thing. I thought that reformatting it to that would take away the RAID and just give me the 4TB (which I kinda want now) but the WD Drive manager still says RAID 1 and my mac only says I have 2TB.
Is that because:
A) The reformat did not get rid of the raid and it is still on
B) I also have to change it in the drive manager
C) It says 2TB because only one drive in it works
