Mac Software(s) for MyPassport

I had recently purchased a new MyPassport External HDD. 

 

When WD will release the Mac equivalent software(s) for smart backup (SmartWare) for Latest MyPassport HDD ?

 

As per the below list different software(s) are available for Windows platform, where as Mac has very less software(s).

The latest smartware version for Mac was released on 7/26/2012. But you seem to have the passport model that doesn’t support smartware, but you can use time machine instead.

Looks like they decided to only release smartware for the windows version on this model.

You can use Time Machine which comes loaded on your Mac OS and works better than any other software
