Home screen

I am using my second WD My Book for Mac, and with both HD's I have had the problem of "losing" the Home screen with the columns corresponding to my computer and the external HD showing the back up progress. Can anyone please advise me on how to access that screen so I can watch things as they occur. I know it is a simple question, but a frustrating one .

this is surely a first

 

what version of smartware you have?

 

Try selecting the drive and then go to the backup tab
