Formater pour Mac

Bonjour,

Je viens d’acheter un disque dur externe WD. Mon soucis étant qu’il doit passer aussi bien sur MAC que sur PC.

Pour cela, on m’a conseillé de le formater en FAT. 

En cherchant sur des forums, j’ai essayer cette technique :

Panneau de config > Outil d’admin > Gestion de l’ordi > Gestion de disque > Formater mais mon pc étant sous XP ne me propose pas d’autre format que NTFS.

D’autre part, j’ai aussi essayé ce lien :

Malheureusement, cela ne fonctionne pas non plus.

Try format it from a MAC computer.

Under Disk Utility highlight the WD external drive

from  “Volume Scheme” select 1 partition

from “Options” choose Master Boot Record and click OK.

You can name your Volume.

From “Format” choose MS-DOS (FAT) and click Apply to execute it.

Your WD hard disk drive should now be read and write by both MAC and PC computers.
