For the love of god, HOW DO I CONTACT SUPPORT?!?!?

I bought a 4tb My Passport Pro external hard drive. Loaded 1tb worth of stuff on it, died within a week. Googled it, it’s a fairly known problem that happens to a fair number of them. That **bleep**.

I am trying to submit an RMA, but the RMA page is down. It says “Error: Error occurred while loading a Visualforce page. Please email us (wdsupport@wdc.com) if you need to get in touch.”

So I email them. I get an email back instantly that says “This email is not being monitored.  If you need assistance from Western Digital please create a support case in our WD support portal at https://westerndigital.secure.force.com/ind/ID_Login.

So I go to that link and it says “Page Not Found: /ID_Login.%C2%A0 Stay tuned. Please email us if you need to get in touch.” (same email, so I try something else.)

I know, I will phone support! Oh look at that, it’s 10 minutes past support line hours.

I will see if they have a different email I can write to! I go to the Support tab > Phone & Email support > I click on EMAIL SUPPORT. It takes me to the Support portal website :/  (I just want an email adress!)

I can’t find email anywhere. At the very bottom (the page footer) it has

Not able to find your answer(s) above? CALL WD SUPPORT EMAIL WD SUPPORT

So I click the Email icon. It takes me to a “Create a New Support Case” page. I fill it out, I hit submit. I wait… and wait… and wait… after 5 minutes of swirling icon, I get “An error was encountered during knowledge base search.”

EEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

I DONT WANT TO SEARCH THE KNOWLEDGE BASE! I WANT TO CONTACT THE FRIGGIN SUPPORT EMAIL SO I CAN SUBMIT A GOSH DARN RMA!!!
